HISTORY OF COLLEGEJayam group of institution is pioneer in establishing collegiate education in Dharmapuri district to impart knowledge to the rural youths in the areas of Engineering, Science, Technical and Education. The institution progresses and contributes in the field of technical education for over 18 years.
Jayam Arts and Science College was established in 2015 by Jayam educational trust, Approved by Govt. of Tamil Nadu & Affiliated to Periyar University, Salem. Jayam Arts and Science College under the dynamic leadership of Mr. M. Ramesh, Managing Trustee, Mrs. Parvathi Ramesh, and Mr. S. Shanmugam, the Trustees, have been the source of strength in the development activities of the college. and the Principal, Prof. Dr. S. Ezhilan, M.A (T), M.A (E), M. Phil., B. Ed, Ph. D., by their untiring efforts and guidance take the college to the next level by improving the educational standard. Jayam Arts & Science College offers an array of appropriate academic programs and provides a perfect learning experience for the students culminated by the faculty members who foster intellectual, social and personal development which all have transformed the institution as a center of learning. The college has excelled infrastructure with well furnished classrooms, computer lab, library facilities, internet and other general amenities, like world class playgrounds, canteen and bus facilities connecting various destination within and outside the district. The college also offers scholarship and other incentives to economically weaker students, meritorious students, sports persons and helps the students to face the world with confidence and courage.
